A gutter that is too small for the roof it is collecting is not a finish detail — it is the first leak in the basement. We size gutters to the roof load and install with hangers spaced for ice, not for speed.
Our default is seamless 5-inch K-style aluminum. For homes that need more volume we install 6-inch oversized, half-round, or copper. We install ShurFlo aluminum gutter guards on most projects — they work and they are maintenance-free.

Insurance scope review
If the damage qualifies for a claim, we review the carrier's scope against what we found. Don spent 5 years as a Licensed Public Adjuster in Illinois — we know what they pay and what they leave off.

Itemized written proposal
Before any contract is signed you receive a written, itemized scope. Materials, labor, warranty terms — every line is explained.

Material selection
Shingle profile, color, gutter size, and siding texture chosen against the existing house — not from a brochure. Samples come to you.

Installation by our crew
Our own crews, not subcontractors. The site is protected, the deck is inspected, and the work is photographed at every stage.

Final walk and warranty
A walk-through with the homeowner. The manufacturer warranty is registered in your name. Our workmanship warranty is good for as long as you own the house.

What size gutters do I need?
It depends on the roof load above them. Our default is seamless 5-inch K-style aluminum; homes with larger or steeper roofs get 6-inch oversized, half-round, or copper. We size to the actual roof, not a one-size default.
Do gutter guards actually work?
The right ones do. We install ShurFlo aluminum gutter guards on most projects — they are maintenance-free and keep the system flowing through leaf-fall and ice season. We will tell you honestly when guards are worth it for your home.
Can storm-damaged gutters be part of an insurance claim?
Yes. Dented or detached gutters and downspouts are common storm-claim line items that carriers routinely under-scope. We document them alongside the roof so nothing is left off the estimate.
