Don Kaider has spent more than two decades in storm restoration and the insurance-claim side of it, and has owned DJK Restoration, Inc. for nine-plus years. He has documented hundreds of roof claims to carrier scope. That experience is what lets him write a report a carrier cannot easily dismiss, so each home is restored to pre-storm condition.

Most roofers walk away when the carrier pushes back on a line item. Don does not, because he has spent his career on the documentation side of the claim. He knows what the carrier expects to see, what a first estimate leaves off, and how to support it in writing. The result, for a homeowner: a fully documented scope and the work done correctly.

Don's greatest strength is connecting with the homeowner, diagnosing the problem (storm-related or just an aging roof) and guiding them through the process to a positive result. He answers his own phone, walks every roof, and signs every contract. He is the person you talk to from start to finish.

He runs DJK out of the Atlanta Metro with his own crews. Same standards on every job, and the same owner on the phone, on the roof, and at the adjuster's table.
