Don Kaider spent five years as a Licensed Public Adjuster in Illinois, fifteen years in the contracting industry, and has been the owner of DJK Restoration, Inc. for nine-plus years. He has handled hundreds of insurance claims — that experience is what lets him maximize the benefit homeowners actually receive from their carrier, and make sure each home is restored to pre-storm condition.

Most roofers walk away when the carrier pushes back on a line item. Don does not — because he spent half a decade inside the adjuster's world. He knows what the carrier expects to see, what they leave off, and how to argue for it. The result, for a homeowner: more of the claim paid by the carrier, less out of pocket, and the work done correctly.

Don's greatest strength is connecting with the homeowner, diagnosing the problem — storm-related or just an aging roof — and guiding them through the process to a positive result. He answers his own phone, walks every roof, and signs every contract. He is the person you talk to from start to finish.

He runs DJK out of two regional offices — one in the Chicagoland Suburbs, one in the Atlanta Metro — but the philosophy is identical in both markets. Same crews. Same standards. Same owner, on the phone, on the roof, at the adjuster's table.
